Oak gains acupuncture licence

Oak recently gained their licence from Teignbridge District Council for Candice to begin to practice acupuncture in Chudleigh. Please contact us to make a booking.

Justine Fitzgerald joins us

Justine Fitzgerald is joining us and she is an art therapist. She has a particular specialism in working with those on the autistic spectrum and apart from working with Oak, she also works for The Priory group. Justine will be booking sessions from September and will be available on a Friday morning.

Tom Neusinger joins us

Tom Neusinger has also recently joined us. Tom used to work for Devon Partnership NHS Trust as a relaxation therapist but now works freelance with clients with complex health needs and those with a learning disability as well as the general public. Tom practices reflexology and reiki and also delivers training to other therapists who are interested in working with vulnerable adults. Tom has CRB clearance to undertake this work.

Lisa Weston provides therapy for Connexions

Lisa Weston is now delivering Dramatherapy for Connexions Devon and Cornwall, the government service for 13-19 year olds.

Oak gains funding from Barnardo's

Oak gains funding from Barnardo's through Moors Edge Children's Centre Oak has recently received a considerable amount of specialist equipment for the Moors Edge Children's Centre. Oak is very grateful for the support of Barnardo's and we are excited to be able to offer further specialist music therapy and dramatherapy to children in the local area. Both therapists are experienced in working with children who are suffering from attachment disorders, abuse, those on the autistic spectrum or those with or without a learning disability who are suffering a mental health issue. Lisa Weston also has particular experience with children in pupil referral units of those on the verge of exclusion from school.
