Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is a psychological version of acupressure which involves gently tapping on a sequence of energy points on the face and body with the fingertips while focussing on the issue to be resolved. EFT energetically resolves the disruption to the body's energy system which occurs as a result of emotionally charged experiences. EFT is a compassionate and gentle form of therapy. It can help free you from emotional trauma and phobias, enhance self-esteem and self-acceptance and remove self-defeating behaviour. My experience of it is that it works speedily, effectively and powerfully either as the main therapeutic process or as part of a broader counselling experience.
